The first step is promote awareness of the disease of addiction, and the many forms of help. › Local Resources Many states and municipalities provide substance use services and programs for their residents. › Employee Assistance Program Cigna EAP coverage provides access for you and family members to licensed clinicians to help with emotional, behavioral, and other issues they may be experiencing such as help with finding pet care, elder care and caregiver support.3 Visit your state’s Department of Health website for local resources.
